SCHOLARSHIP

(for Summer Theatre Workshops)

Two scholarhips are available for the Oprheus Theatre Summer Music Theatre Workshops, one for children ages 7-12 and one for teens ages
13- 16. The primary considerations for receiving this scholarship are interest in theatre, music, dance, and the arts in general. Financial need
will also be a consideration.

The applicant must write an essay explaining why they are interested in theatre and what they hope to learn by attending this workshop. Also, applicants should include what theatre, dance, music etc. experience they have and how it has affected their lives. Essay should be one to three hand written or typed pages in length. Do not include any pictures, scrapbooks, CDs, DVDs, or other extra information as these will not be taken into consideration. Please fill out the application below and return with your essay at least two weeks prior to the start of the workshop.

 

Recipients will receive notification by phone ASAP before the workshops begin. Please mail the application form and your essay to Orpheus Theatre, PO Box 1014, Oneonta, NY, 13820.
